Penn State Wireless
Penn State is replacing the psu wireless network with eduroam as the University’s primary network. The existing psu network will be retired on November 21.
For Students
eduroam
All devices, including computers, tablets, and smartphones, must be connected to the eduroam network and reconfigured to support the new authentication method. Most TVs, smart speakers, and game consoles cannot connect to eduroam and will need to be connected to psu-personal.
psu-personal
The roomgear network in the residence halls was replaced by psu-personal on June 30. If your device is registered on the roomgear network, it will work on psu-personal, a supplemental network for devices that do not support eduroam.
Complete the Wireless setup before November 21
On November 21, the psu network is going away and the authentication process is changing. All personal devices connected to eduroam must complete the new Wireless setup by visiting wireless.psu.edu.
