On June 15, 2025, the Microsoft Teams Classes tool in the course navigation menu in Canvas will no longer function. Existing Microsoft Teams links will display an error when selected.
The workaround is to get a link to the Microsoft Team and then use the Redirect Tool to manually add that link to the course navigation menu. The “Microsoft Sync” feature, which creates a Microsoft Team and synchronizes the course roster, will not be affected by this change.
